Grizzly Shark Reveal Hard Hitting New Single ‘Remember the Black Box’

Brisbane easycore/pop punk outfit Grizzlyshark are bouncing back into tight form after the release of their single ‘Vicarious’ earlier this year. The new track, titled ‘Remember the Black Box’ is a heavy-hitting anthem of power riffs and punchy punk rock, intertwined with a taste of rock’n’roll, Foo Fighters style. Which comes to no surprise as Grizzlyshark guitarist Joey McLennan got to play onstage with the Foo Fighters at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium back in January 2018.

Of the new song, the band shares:

“Remember The Black Box touches base on the feeling of loss at a plan or idea falling apart around someone. I wanted to hit home the feelings of helplessness I have felt when these situations arise.”

I am truly enjoying each song these guys release more and more, as they set their hearts out on bringing back the mid-2000’s pop punk sound we embraced from acts like Set Your Goals and Hit the Lights. Raucous riffs and pop melodies is what we love most in pop punk. Keep it up boys!
