New Zealand's Alien Weaponry Announce Lineup Change

4 min read

In what is going to be some huge news for fans of New Zealand's heavy metal upcomers Alien Weaponry, the boys have announced a slight change to their lineup with OG bassist Ethan Trembath announcing his departure due to mental health reasons. It seems being on the road for so long away from his family has taken a massive toll on his life and he has to do what's right for him. He thanked all of his fans/followers for their support over the years and, well, we may have shed a tear or two...

BUT they're not stopping, they've announced their close friend Tūranga Morgan-Edwards will fill the bassist position and have introduced him to their fans in a video on their Facebook page, alongside with a statement reading:

Not everyone is going to like it ... and there is no easy way to say it ... We love you guys and we REALLY love this guy ... and ultimately we have to respect what's best for him ... in our metal family FOREVER!!! ... a new chapter begins \m/\m/

WE can't wait to see what the boys do next and thank Ethan for his efforts so far... nga mea pai katoa you legend! It's been great watching these lads take over the world and we're glad it's all amicable and friendly between them.

New music is on the way it seems, so stay tuned...
