Necronata Returns With Reimagined Track ‘Cirque Du Freak’

It’s been a hot minute since Brendan Grace graced us with his presence (pun intended) with his emo-rock revival act Necronata, who dropped his killer track ‘Diabolical‘ back in May and took us deep into his world with our chat. Since then we’ve been eagerly anticipating the next installment which has finally arrived!

It seems revivial is the keyword with this project because he’s reworked an old track from his back catalogue called ‘Cirque Du Freak‘ feat. Le Vide which keeps the similar musical theme rolling and takes us all back to the land of Top 8 Friends and a social media owner NOT selling out personal information to the world.

On the reworked song, Necronata himself told us:

“As much as I liked my songwriting in the original, the production was very much not current. This song is an integral part of the story so I couldn’t just leave it be – I took it to my producer and to Le Vide and we collaborated for something very special here. The video is also an incredible parallel to the story yet still allegorical just like Diabolical…”

The story, as mentioned, continues on from his last release which Brendan elaborated more on revealing:

“In the story, Cirque happens the night after our protagonist in Diabolical messes with dark forces. This man at a nightclub becomes influenced by these dark forces and turns, not just mentally, but physically into the very evil he is influenced by.”

For all you readers out there, the band name and song was inspired by the horror novel ‘The Demonata‘ by Darren Shan, which gets paid homage to throughout. A nice lil cameo if you will from this eyebrow raising upcomer.

Keep your eye on Necronata, we expect nothing but big things in future…
