Slaves (US) Drop New Track ‘Like I Do’ + Announce The End Of The ‘Slaves’ Era

It seems Slaves (US) are still on the path to find their place in music. The band recently announced their new record, To Better Days will drop on August 7th, however the news just broke that this album will be the last release under the name ‘Slaves’, due to negative connotations in current times. The band released their official statement for the name change via their Instagram:

In saying that though, Slaves are all too eager for their forthcoming full-length and have given us a brand new song to tide us over til August. ‘Like I Do’ is the closing track from the record and hones in on the band’s more melodic rock elements even more, and it kinda throws me back to when Our Last Night dropped their banger of a record Younger Dreams. It’s a little soft, but Slaves fans will lap this up immediately!

To Better Days is out August 7th through SBG Records. Pre-order here
