Ice Nine Kills Release Disney Revenge Show Doco + Merch

Anyone who's been to an Ice Nine Kills gig knows all too well what kind of fun you're gonna have (just revisit our coverage of the band's first ever show in Australia right here), but it turns out, not everyone is keen to see the band bash through some brutally heavy bangers based upon horror/thriller movies and literature...

On April 26, 2019 the band were supposed to play a show at the House Of Blues in Orlando (owned by the Walt Disney group) but the show was axed with the excuse of the band being "too evil for children". True, but then again have you seen the opening of Bambi!? Hypocrites! Anyway, the band played a make up gig for their Orlando fans, filmed it and a bunch of behind-the-scenes shots and they've just released a mini doco about it!

On the whole incident, frontman Spencer Charnas said:

"Looking back at the Disney incident fills me with nothing but laughter. When I first heard about the ban I was perturbed strictly because we love playing in that city. But rather than mope and cry about it, I had the idea to poke fun at the situation by creating a merch line of beloved Disney characters and inserting them in slasher movie scenarios. This mini documentary chronicles our triumphant sold out return to Orlando and the chaos that ensued.."

The band have also released a another line of clothing based upon the incident and you can get your hands on all of that gear right here
