EP PREMIERE: The Mean Times Debut Alt-Rock Belters On Stunned Mullet EP
Melbourne rockers The Mean Times have been coming up the ranks for a few years now and on Friday, May 29th, they’ll be unleashing their latest EP Stunned Mullet upon fans, but for those of you who don’t like to wait, we’re premiering it for you a few days early!
With a combination of tasty riffs, old school garage-band sound influences, yell-inducing ballads, raw vocals and a whole bunch of fun, this release is guaranteed to get you moving, nodding along and appreciating the hard work they’ve put into their music.
On the forthcoming release, the band says:
This is our second EP within a year, both of which were recorded at the same time. Our last EP, ‘Raw Prawn’, was a catchy, punk rock EP that showed our lighter side, but ‘Stunned Mullet’ is deeper and darker than before, but with all the same hooks, energy and swagger. With ‘Stunned Mullet’, we’ve tried to retain the garage rock feel of our live show, while adding a new level of depth, space and nuanced dynamics.
