Ex-Hellions Guitarist Matthew Gravolin Debuts New Project Agnes Manners

It was a sad day back in April last year when Hellions guitarist (and all round super nice guy) Matt Gravolin announced his departure from the band, a shock reveal none of us saw coming. Luckily it was all on good terms because Matt wanted to head out and try his hand at some other musical projects... Fast forward and today, we finally get to hear out first taste of that!

Agnes Manners is the new band he'll be in, it's a slower/balladesque, poppier direction than his previous bands BUT to be honest with you after listening to his debut single 'As Long As You're Mine', I can remember hearing elements of that style in Hellions last album Rue! The good news continues with Dream State's CJ Gilpin also featuring on the track with adds that dynamic guy/girl vocal split that'll no doubt have this turning into the theme song for a lot of new relationships forming this year... umm, after lockdowns end silly!

The track comes from a forthcoming record which will also feature Trophy Eyes frontman John Floreani and if that's not enough to get you over the line, well, you're in the wrong article buddy!

Listen below, stay tuned for more and get keen on what else Goblin has been working on...
