Adelaide’s Colourblind Release Rad New Track ‘Seatbelt’

As a former Radelaidian, I can’t help but be very excited for bands coming out of the woodwork in my old country town– city. And this is a good one! If you like bands like Slowly Slowly, Sly Withers and the like I think you’ll be really into Colourblind.

The four-piece just released a new single called ‘Seatbelt’ and it’s a heart on your sleeve type, alt rock vibing track that’ll maybe give you a flashback to your emo punk days.

Of the track the band says:

“Seatbelt is a song about feeling trapped. Trapped in a broken car that’s crumbling around you, trapped in your heat, trapped in life. It sets to capture the absolute frustration of powerlessness that comes with growing up. I wish the song had a positive message but it doesn’t. It contains the dark and somewhat childish thought patterns associated with mental health issues. That relief could only possibly come from running away. Or listening to the voices in your head telling you to drive your car into a lake.”

And hey, if you like ‘Seatbelt‘ so much that you wish you could see them live, well, you can! They’ll be supporting Slowly Slowly on their Race Car Blues Tour in October!
