The Offspring Dropped An Iso Cover Of ‘Here Kitty Kitty’

The world has gone big cat crazy lately thanks to Tiger King (seriously, how fucked was that show) and The Offspring have jumped on the bandwagon and recorded an isolation cover of The Clinton Johnson Band‘s ‘Here Kitty Kitty‘ from isolation, abiding by social distancing regulations and, well, it’s making the fact we were supposed to be seeing them live this week across Australia hurt that little bit less.

On the idea, the band said:

Hey, Guys! Like many of you, we are going a little stir crazy these days and we wanted to do something fun to put a smile on our faces, and hopefully on some of yours too. This song, Here Kitty Kitty, was originally by the Clinton Johnson band, and *not* by anyone in that recent documentary we all got caught up in. The Offspring wives were group texting recently, and while they all agreed that they truly love their husbands, there are times when they’ve absolutely felt like feeding us to the tigers. In that spirit, we hope you enjoy this random song & video.

The Offspring and Sum 41 will tour Australia in 2021 via Destroy All Lines. No new dates have been set yet for the Sold Out trip but fans are urged to #KeepYourTickets for when the new dates are revealed.

We urge fans to #KeepYourTickets for upcoming shows as it’ll help the industry more than you know with so many struggling at the moment. Refer to our Op-Ed piece on the matter right here
