Knuckle Puck Share New Song ‘R.S.V.P’

After dropping their first new song earlier this year, US pop punk act Knuckle Puck (or Kanookle Pook haha) have shared another new track from their forthcoming album 20/20 which will be released later this year. ‘R.S.V.P’ is a cathartic anthem about leaving old friends behind while you go live your best life. It features upbeat, infectious melodies that’ll no doubt keep Knuckle Puck at the top of their game, alongside fellow pop punkers State Champs.

Vocalist/guitarist Nick Casasanto particularly holds this song close to home:

“This is one of the first songs I wrote in my apartment after moving to L.A. So much had happened in my personal life after the release of [2017’s] Shapeshifter that I felt like life was moving and changing faster than I could cope. I felt separated from everything and everyone living on the other side of the country, but it was strangely refreshing. In a way, it felt like I had escaped a lot of my problems. So when people would ask, ‘When are you coming back to Chicago?,’ it was difficult to give them an honest answer.”

As someone who has also stepped away from their hometown, I can wholeheartedly relate and this song is for sure going to keep me wanting more from these guys.

Knuckle Puck’s forthcoming record 20/20 will be released on Rise Records later this year.
