Lochlan Watt & Mike Deslandes Unleash Heavy AF New Project R U N With Debut Song ‘For You’
If you follow The Racket‘s Lochlan Watt on his socials you’d know he’s been working on a new musical project with Mike Deslandes (YLVA/High Tension) and today, they’ve unleashed their heavy AF venture called R U N and their debut single ‘For You‘ is going to please the biggest deathcore/metal fans out there!
On the new track’s meaning, Watt explained:
“There are several meanings tied up in ‘For You’ – it is a song born from extreme emotional pain, but it is also a song that looks forward while standing firm. It wasn’t written for others… it was written for the self, and where you take it from there is up to you.”
Lochlan is no stranger to the frontman role, he’s done vocal duties for his own bands Nuclear Summer and Colossvs as well as filled in live for bands such as Thy Art Is Murder and Psycroptic before and with a huge set of pipes on him, it won’t be long before you’re screaming the words back at him through your phone or computer!
