We are now officially one massive step closer to Buffalo’s finest Every Time I Die releasing their 9th studio album after the band shared pic on Instagram announcing the album is officially recorded with the one and only Will Putney helping them create their next masterpiece which will follow up from 2016’s Low Teens (our review here).
On the news, bassist Stephen Micciche says:
ETID wrapped up record number 9 late Saturday night. We have a great problem to have on our hands with 16 very strong songs. Listening back to them is really blowing me away this time around. Everyone pushed themselves a little harder. @willputney is one of the best in the biz, left his home and came to Buffalo to make this record easier on us, not himself. @gcraudio and @jayzubricky are fantastic. Not sure what the record will be called yet, but I’m sure it rips.
The band have been sharing updates of their studio life on their Instagram Page, which includes song teases and behind the scenes looks at the making of, so if you’re an impatient mofo, head over there and check it all out.
We caught up with the boys backstage at UNIFY Gathering 2019 just before they hit the studio, revisit that interview below while you wait!
No doubt, we’ll be able to hear a sample of what they’ve been working on when they return to Australia supporting Parkway Drive and Hatebreed in June. You probs don’t wanna miss that hey!
