It's no secret that Australia's Bushfire Crisis has affected us all. Whether you were in the path of destruction or if you've come across the devastation and aftermath online, it's hard to escape and we all want to try and do something to help out the many causes aiding and supporting our country.
Wall of Sound owner Paul 'Browny' Brown and The Faction owner Tim 'Pricey' Price have joined forces to try and raise funds for WIRES, the Australian Wildlife Rescue Organisation who have been instrumental to the rescuing and rehabilitation of Australia's wildlife who were caught up in the disaster areas. Together, they've hooked up with a plethora of bands who performed at UNIFY Gathering 2020 over the weekend to offer up an auction for a signed poster from the festival and YOU could be the lucky fan to get your hands on it and help out the WIRES team in the process.
Pricey explains why WIRES was close to his heart, stating:
We decided to donate to WIRES because of the devastating loss of wildlife in NSW as well as habitat. If we can give a little that may help provide resources to continue to rehabilitate animals to be released back into the wild or to survive their injuries, we want to do everything we can. Australia has beautiful, wonderful and unique animals - and we couldn't stand by without doing something to help
Browny added his thoughts, revealing:
The devastating photos of Australia's wildlife getting caught up in the chaos was hard to escape and it personally hit us all so hard, so much so, we HAD to try and do something to help them out. It's going to take a lot of time, money and resources to save and rehabilitate those injured animals so let's all chip in where we can and lend a hand.
