Upcoming Sydney pop punk act Cambridge (who were part of our Top 15 Aussie Pop Punk Bands To Watch in 2020) are making word on their promise of new music this year and dropped new single 'Down and Out' today. The song is a catchy, energetic piece of music that's right up any pop punk music fan's alley.

Vocalist Brad Smith told us the new track:

"is just about feeling like it’s time to just chuck it all in but then reflecting and realising life is good and have fun while you still can! I guess it’s also a bit of a return to our pop punk roots which is a great feeling!"

It's always great to return to your roots as we've found out, but with this new music out, does that mean more is on the way? We hit the man up to try and get more out of him with Brad revealing:

"We are kind of taking a different approach to releasing music these days so instead of the traditional EP release we are looking to release a new song say every 3 or so months to keep it fresh and I guess not have any songs lost in the mix like they might on a traditional release. So expect even more new music late March/April"
