Hellions – Gig Review & Photo Gallery 3rd January @ Crowbar, Sydney NSW

Crowbar, Sydney NSW
January 3rd, 2020
Supports: Whatever Forever, Waxflower and Grenade Jumper

After saying goodbye to OG member Matt Gravolin back in May last year, Hellions took some time out to rethink their next strategy and they’ve come back as a three-piece, hellbent to continue the legacy they built for themselves and we caught their first show at Crowbar.

This show was hands down the best/tightest the boys have ever played. Despite some sound issues and a room sweatier than a pig in a blanket, Hellions infected the crowd with the energetic response they’re known for. Special shoutout to Bianca from Grenade Jumper for jumping up to do guesties and making anyone who missed their set hate themselves for it. This band never fails to impress and tonight was in no way an exception to this rule.

All in all, it was a great night and a fun way to kick off the new year in style. We’re keen as hell to see what the Hellions boys do next and this is just the start of what’s to come…
