Waxflower Release Even More Feel Good Vibes With New Single ‘Together’
Upcoming Brisbane pop-punk act Waxflower hasn’t even been a band for very long, but they’re off to a flying start! This young act has just come off supporting Canadian pop-punkers Simple Plan and US outfit The Dangerous Summer and now they’ve released a brand new single titled ‘Together’! This new track perfectly fills the void that was left by Kisschasy when they called it a day in 2015.
‘Together’ explores frontman Tristan Higginson‘s own personal struggle with mental health, and this song seems to have definitely helped him get through those challenges:
“I needed that internal acknowledgment of what was happening to me. ‘Together’ is a kind of rally call to getting better by putting things into perspective.”
To celebrate this new single, the band are also heading out on their first-ever headline tour up and down the east coast this coming February. Waxflower is set to go off in 2020 so best to keep tabs on these guys!
