New Thorny Single Arrived! Hit Play On 'In My Skin' Now

We are merely days away from Thornhill releasing their debut album The Dark Pool (our review here) and to get you that little bit keener, they've dished out a brand new song for you to froth over.

The track is called 'In My Skin' and our reviewer stated it:

"starts with Jacob’s enchanting vocals singing slowly before the instrumentals begin and the pace is picked up. This song has quite a fun, upbeat guitar riff which is climactic in every sense. With a guitar solo towards the end of the song, this piece offers quite a lot"

They also went onto say the album is a "masterpiece that will exceed expectations throughout the entire music industry", a claim most of us back here at WoS HQ.

On the new single, frontman Jacob Charlton shared it was about his own personal body image, revealing:

“’In My Skin’ is a huge one on the album for me. I’ve never liked what I look like, I’ve looked in the mirror a million times and hated myself, so I decided that this year, 2019, was the year I did something about it... After UNIFY, I got off stage and saw the pictures and I absolutely hated how I looked, so after that I cut my hair off and have since lost 15kgs. I’m still not where I want to be, but I’m going hard enough at it that I simply can’t hate myself because I’m on the journey.

"While this song is about me and my body, it can be for everyone dealing with something they’re not happy with. I've learnt that you can be happier just for doing something about it, rather than necessarily getting to the outcome."
