Umm Simple Plan Dropped A Song With State Champs & We The Kings!
After what feels like an eternity of nonstop festivals and No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls anniversary shows, not to mention bassist David Desrosiers is back in the band fulltime, Canadian pop punkers Simple Plan have decided to get down to business on creating their sixth studio album. To coincide with their upcoming US tour with State Champs and We The Kings, the guys wanted to do something special for that tour so what could be better than a tour? A brand new single titled 'Where I Belong'!
This track has Simple Plan's staple sound written all over it, with State Champs' Derek DiScanio adding a fresh spin to it right throughout. The best thing about Simple Plan's style on creating music is they know exactly what works for them and they'll stick to it. While the song does also feature Travis Clark from We The Kings, it's hard to hear him on the song, but he's definitely there.
No word yet if 'Where I Belong' will appear on the upcoming album, but for now it's a tour single and this is as close as the rest of the world will get to a Simple Plan/State Champs/We The Kings collaboration.
Ahhh, it feels pretty amazing to have a new Simple Plan song in our lives doesn't it?! Learn the words ahead of their appearance at Good Things Festival later in the year!
