PREMIERE: Get Some 'Reassurance' With Carrington's New Single!
Straight off the back of their Alter-Ego EP back in May (our review here), Perth pop punkers Carrington are ready to bring you more catchy anthems and 'Reassurance' is their punchy new track that gives you more of their angsty, pop punk-fuelled antics.
This song is the first to come from their new EP, Into Graphite (released November 1st) and is about relying (or not having that reliance) on the support of your friends/partner through life experiences. It's that typical pop punk angst we've heard from the boys, but 'Reassurance' sees the Perth five-piece fine tune their sound even more.
The lads also announced a lineup change earlier in the week revealing:
It is with great excitement we announce that our good friend Ben will be joining Carrington as our new bass player. He is an all-around lunatic and will fit in perfectly.
Unfortunately, it does sadden us greatly to announce that our friend and brother Zach will be departing the band to pursue his well-earned career prospects in Melbourne. To have had the opportunity to spend time with a man like Zach has been an absolute honour for all of us and we will miss him dearly.
Carrington are surely becoming a name to watch in the Australian music scene! Catch them at their EP Launch Show on November 8th at Lucy's Loveshack
