Tonight Alive Drummer Matty Best Is Working With Sleeping With Sirens

This caught us by surprise but shout out to Wall of Sound's pop punk expert Tamara May who spotted Tonight Alive drummer Matty Best teaming up with Sleeping With Sirens in frontman Kellin Quinn's Instagram story. The development comes after drummer Gabe Barham departed the band last week, despite the fact they have their brand new album How It Feels To Be Lost is scheduled for release tomorrow.

In the post, Kellin thanked Matty for coming to New York City with them and he can be seen clear as day in the above photo. It should also be mentioned that Matty is also a studio/session/touring drummer when he's not with his Tonight Alive brothers and sister. Regardless of the fact, it's exceptional to see a band like SWS turning to one of our very own Australian musicians for help.

It's unclear if Matty is just helping the guys with album promo duties (performances and appearances etc) but we wouldn't be opposed to the idea of him joining the band full time... but only if he does double duties with TA and doesn't 'Leave It All Behind'... ba dum tss!
