Get Horny For Thorn(y)hill's Forthcoming Album The Dark Pool + New Song 'Nurture'

There are two types of people in this country, those who like Void of Vision and those who like Thornhill... naa, I'm, kidding, both bands are sick and they're both releasing albums this year too which is awesome. Thornhill have just announced their debut full length will be called The Dark Pool and they've unleashed a heavy belter of a single called 'Nurture' which not only showcases just how good frontman Jacob Charlton has honed in on his vocals, but how the band gel around him with that djenty/metalcore sound that's been quite popular this year (think VoV and Northlane for example).
On the album's sound, Jacob revealed:
"We wanted it to have enough difference that people would be surprised, and it would also allow us to keep branching out down the track. We wanted to sprinkle enough in The Dark Pool that we could continue to build on, we never want to pigeon hole ourselves into a genre, that was never the point of Thornhill. We just want to be exactly who we want to be every single time.”
They've proved it right though, if you go back and listen to their Butterfly EP and now this, it sounds so far advanced and like to completely different bands. The progression game is strong with these kids. The song is about idolising someone/something and the way you lose yourself in that world (obsessed with a band/musician? Well that's what it's like!) The new album comes out on October 25th via UNFD ad they're also playing an album launch show in November to celebrate. Details and song below!
