The Ghost Inside Give Their First Update Since Their July Comeback Show

Back in the middle of July, The Ghost Inside made their massively emotional comeback to the stage in LA which proved the want/need and demand for them is bigger than ever before. They played just the one show for 2019 and said they’re back, but not sure how many shows they’d be able to do in future, which is totally understandable.

However, in a new video on social media, the band addressed their future and revealed they’re going to try and play a few more shows next year, BUT they’re definitely NOT going on tour. They won’t be playing consecutive shows either, they just needed to play this one comeback show to realise they wanted to (and could) play more.

In the post, the entire band revealed:

Welp, here it is. A month and change has gone by since our show in LA. We’ve spent most of that time together working on music and discussing the next chapter of TGI. By no means are we ready physically or mentally to do any touring, but July 13 proved to us that we are much more than capable of overcoming all of the challenges that have been placed in our way, and we are ready to play a few more shows. As the plan for when and where those will be comes together, we will continue to put all our cards on the table. We like to think we are on every part of this journey together with you. Stay tuned as the first couple of announcements will come up quick! TGI now, TGI forever.

The guys are also working on a new album with Will Putney and A Day To Remember‘s Jeremy McKinnon and revealed on Twitter that they had written what they’re calling a “holy shit” song.

Full credit to the band and their motivation and drive to get back on the horse again (at their own pace) for the fans and themselves. This shows a true test of character that they’re willing and keen to get back out there again, within reason, following the traumatic experiences and hardship they’ve faced since 2015.

Not gonna lie, would absolutely die a very happy man if they made their way to Australia for a special one off show. That would be worth every cent and second spent at their show, just to catch a glimpse of them live and in action again.

If it’s a war you came to see you will never see a waved white flag in front of me.
I can’t end up dead, I won’t be misled.
I’ll keep singing this song inside my head.
