Angels & Airwaves Drop 'Rebel Girl' Music Video + Unveil Matt Rubano As Their New Bassist

It's been a hot minute since Angels & Airwaves announced their comeback with a US tour and new song 'Rebel Girl', but now frontman Tom DeLonge, drummer Ilan Rubin and guitarist David Kennedy have finally showcased their new music video for their latest track and the big news is that ex-Taking Back Sunday/All American Rejects bassist Matt Rubano, has joined the band to take up the role of four string player. Fans might recognise Matt from his touring bassist duties in Glassjaw too!

Surprising fans with his appearance in the clip, Matt takes the reigns from Matt Wachter who was supposed to be rejoining the band, according to social media posts from DeLonge back in July, but those plans must have fallen through, leaving a spot for the new Matt to jump in.

Regardless we're keen as fuck to see what the band do moving forward and HOPE they have an album announcement for us soon (or better yet, an Australian tour which Tom said they're in talks for during a recent live stream on Instagram)
