9 Foot Super Soldier (Video Interview)
Perth band 9 Foot Super Solider have been dubbed (mostly by themselves) “a blistering bombast of banter laden crossover here to amuse, shock and entertain”. The world of metal can, at times, take itself far too seriously so this breath of fresh air in the form of four party animals from W.A is a welcome addition to the scene.
With the EP Cheap Beer And $4 Thongs already under their belts, the band decided to pull on their big boy pants and release a full length album titled PARTYVIOLENCE . With that in mind, I infiltrated their inner sanctum, pulled up a beer crate, sunk a few coldies and let’s be honest, talked absolute shit.
PARTYVIOLENCE is out on August 24th with the guys flogging vinyl copies at the Hornography launch gig at the Boston, Northbridge. You can also pick it up on their bandcamp page.
