Yeahhhhhh Killswitch Engage Released A Music Video For ‘The Signal Fire’ Feat. Ex-Frontman Howard Jones!

Fuck Yes. I (Browny) called this track the “Song of the Year” and I still stand by that statement… I also am frothing at the fact Killswitch Engage have made a music video/single out of it because it brings both groups of fans together in unison to froth at the future of KSE. ‘The Signal Fire‘ off their latest album Atonement features former frontman Howard Jones who we should all know by now is best mates again with the band and they are moving forward, supporting each other and expect the fans to do the same too.

The best thing about that is, THIS SONG IS LOUD, FAST, HEAVY AND GOOOOOD! But don’t take my word for it, our reviewer stated: “The guitarists are in overdrive as Jones steps in with his nostalgic vocal style, which should be noted isn’t completely congruent with his style with Light the Torch, accentuating his effort to please long-time fans.” (Read the full album review here)

On the new song, frontman Jesse Leach says:

“This is for the fans and this is our testimony to all who see this video. In these times we live in, I believe this is an important message — not just for us as a band and our fans but for all of humanity. This is a call for compassion and understanding! There is strength in unity.”

And he’s not the only one who was keen, Howard Jones even chimed in with his thoughts on the song/video revealing:

“It was another silly day at the office… Good food, lots of wrestling talk, and hanging with the boys is a great way to spend the day and get a little work done. Shout out to Ian McFarland for making everything painless at the shoot. The day was all smiles — with a hint of metal.”

If you haven’t heard/bought the new album yet, give this track a spin then grab it here
