The Butterfly Effect Announce Their Return With New Single and TBE Beer!
Are you sitting down? Because oh boy, is this big news. It's been quiet in the new music camp from Clint, Kurt, Ben and Glenn since their 2008 album Final Conversation of Kings, The Butterfly Effect are back!
'Unbroken' was created in the studio earlier this year, mixed and mastered by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Cog, Dead Letter Circus) this new track invokes the nostalgia of the band's 'heyday' and gives us a peek at what the future holds for the sound of the band.
TBE vocalist, Clint Boge, said of the song:
"UnBroken is a snap shot taken from a very dark, difficult and personally tumultuous time in my life. I realised my whole world was falling apart, relationships were breaking down and every thing I'd known was crumbling around me. With seemingly very little to hold onto I found an inner strength and the will to keep going, to keep getting out of bed although every part of me wanted to hide away from the world. This song and these lyrics represent that struggle, to remain unbroken."
The new single will be available for purchase and streaming from Friday August 16 right here.
Oh, and didn't we mention something about beer? TBE have teamed up with their favourite brewery, Green Beacon Brewing Co, to create an 'Amplified Ale' which will be available on their upcoming (almost sold out) tour! But don't worry, you'll also be able to buy the beer in bottle shops over the country. Just look for a can decked out in the very same shade of blue that adorns their Begins Here album cover.
After forming in 1999 and creating such a legacy together, this is a triumphant return. Be sure to catch them on tour this month!
More beer info here, and tickets to their Brisbane and Melbourne show here (all other shows sold out).
