Tonight in RADelaide, Architects kicked off their Australian Holy Hell Tour with Polaris and While She Sleeps supporting but WSS frontman Laurence 'Loz' Taylor was still nowhere to be seen following his recent departure from the band's European Tour in July. Back then, the band stated "personal reasons" were the reason for his exit from the tour and by the looks of things, he may still be dealing with them.
But no issues, the band powered through their set with the one and only Griffin Dickinson of SHVPES and if the name looks familiar, he's actually the son of the mighty Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden... yes we're fucking serious! He's taking the reigns for the band's unclean vocals and doing a pretty good job from all accounts of those in attendance. Fans may have been sceptical about Loz not appearing, but until he gets himself back on track again with whatever is going on, this is a pretty good replacement if you ask us!
We're heading along to the Brisbane show on Thursday at the new Fortitude Music Hall, but until then check out this footage WoS legend Marienne Te Haara took of the guys performing 'ANTI-SOCIAL' from the band's stellar new album SO WHAT? (our review here)
It should also be mentioned that Polaris are also playing a new song called 'Hypermania' too, so, you know, get fucking keeeeen!
The Holy Hell Tour is selling fast so jump in quick if you wanna get in on the action!
