Expect A Sum 41 Australian Tour Next Year

It’s been a while since we caught Sum 41 touring Australia on a headline tour and not part of a music festival like Soundwave or their recent trip here in March for Download Festival (our coverage here), but bassist Jason ‘Cone’ McCaslin told us during his recent podcast co-hosting duties on Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall, that the band are planning on making it down as early as next year.

Right at the very end of his interview with Browny, Cone dropped the details about their plans stating:

“Hopefully we’ll be over in Australia in 2020”

The tour will no doubt be in support of their latest album Order In Decline which came out on Friday and has been praised by fans and critics alike. Our reviewer gave it a solid 8/10 stating:

“While it’s doubtful we’ll be seeing any pop/punk revival from these guys, Order in Decline is the best version of Sum 41 we’ve heard in years…”

Go give it a spin, listen to the podcast and count down the days until that announcement from The Sums finally hits…
