PVRIS Return With Synth-Pop Track 'Death Of Me'

Its been a couple of years since PVRIS released their highly acclaimed album All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell and today we get a taste of their next era in the form of the pop/synth/dancey track 'Death Of Me', but don't write it off straight away... The opening sounds like something The Weeknd or Rihanna would have dropped on their latest albums, but eventually, the song opens up and becomes more palatable with every sound being flung towards you.

It is a clear direction away from what they've done in the past, but then again, most bands do this over the years to try new things and maybe this could work in their favour in gaining potential new audiences. One thing's for sure, it's no 'Heaven' and that's the real sad part in all of this.

What do you think?
