BABYMETAL Unveiled Their Third Album METAL GALAXY

After dropping their new single ‘PA PA YA!!‘ yesterday, BABYMETAL have also announced their highly anticipated third album will be called METAL GALAXY and is set for release on October 11th via Cooking Vinyl Australia.

According to BABYMETAL, the album is about:

“…an odyssey the band must take to the METAL GALAXY, a trajectory thrust upon them by the FOX GOD sending the band on a darker path. Each song brings them closer to their desired destination starting with their previously released Elevator Girl and now with new song PA PA YA!! featuring Thai rapper F.HERO.”

Fans of BABYMETAL have been following their journey since their early conception and debut, self-titled album in 2014. From there, they’ve taken the world by storm performing with huge names like Metallica, Slayer, KoRn and Avenged Sevenfold. In October 2018, one of the OG members, YUIMETAL announced her departure shortly before the band made their Australian debut at Good Things Festival where they wowed fans and pulled huge crowds with each city they played in (our Melbourne coverage here).

Keen as hell to see what they do next, hopefully they return to form with more focus on their Japanese sung lyrics as opposed to some of the English driven songs which have been hit and miss lately.
