Biffy Clyro Unveiled The First Single From Their Forthcoming Movie’s Soundtrack

Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro are a busy as fuck trio. We know this from our chat with drummer Ben Johnston who revealed to us during his podcast hosting duties last year the band were working on two new albums, one of which was for a movie they were working on with director Jamie Adams (who has done a bunch of UK based movies and tv shows) and today we finally got to hear the first song from the movie’s soundtrack, which, also shares the same name as the title, ‘Balance, Not Symmetry‘.

For the movie buffs, the plot reads:

Balance, Not Symmetry is about a US student studying at Glasgow School of Art whose privileged existence is turned upside down after an encounter with a local young street artist. Following the passing of her father, she is consumed with her loss and finds herself re-examining both her life and inner circle.

The band are in charge of the film’s music and even had a call out for their fans to appear in the movie last year. The new song, well, rips fucking hard too! If you dig it too, check it out here.

The movie is scheduled for release later this year
