NEW BABYMETAL ALERT: Take a listen to 'Elevator Girl'

They wowed the crowds during their Australian debut performances at Good Things Festival last year (revisit our Melb coverage here) and have teased a new album is on the way very soon and today we get to hear our first taste of BABYMETAL's forthcoming release in the form of 'Elevator Girl'.

The track incorporates their metal sound with synth, piano and simplistic English lyrics. To be honest, I was a fan of the band's songs with 100% Japanese lyrics throughout, I know they're trying to appeal to a much larger audience, but when translations come into play, words can be lost in translation.

In saying that, the song if riffy, rocky and fun, which is everything you'd expect from a BABYMETAL song. I dig it, you should too. We'll update this piece when the music video drops very soon (probably later today)
