Angels & Airwaves return with 'Rebel Girl', their first new song in three years!

It's been a long time coming but Angels & Airwaves are back with a brand new song called 'Rebel Girl', a synth-heavy track with major 80's influences throughout, which also marks their first release since the 2016 EP Chasing Shadows, that was released under Tom DeLonge's company To The Stars... for his Sekret Machines novels. The song is said to be part of the soundtrack for the upcoming Stranger Times movie, which is one of Tom's many projects he's been working on.

The band teased their comeback last week with original member/guitarist David Kennedy making his return alongside DeLonge and drummer Ilan Rubin who featured on the band's most previous releases when they made music as a two-piece. Noticeably absent is bassist Matt Wachter who Tom hinted was making a return to the band in several social media posts a few months back... not sure what the go is there but more will be revealed soon!

The guys are also playing a few shows in the States later this year so here's fucking hoping they jump on a plane and head back to Australia soon. The last time we copped them here was for Soundwave Festival 2012.
