Sooo Post Malone Was At Basement's Perth Show Last Night

Genre-Crossing is great. Especially when it's an unexpected crossover that no one saw coming, like last night for example during Basement's set in Perth at Capitol when a keen and eager fan spotted none other than rapper Post Malone checking out the UK lads during their co-headline show with The Story So Far.

In a series of tweets from gig-goers and the band themselves, it was revealed good old Posty was watching from the sound desk and enjoying himself quite a bit. Its no secret the rapper is a fan of rock and metal so it was no surprise he'd be at the show while in Australia for his own headline tour.

We asked Destroy All Lines promoter Ash Hull to confirm if it was the big guy and he knew he was coming or was it just a lookalike, to which he cheerfully replied:

"I actually had no idea he was coming and neither did the bands, but can confirm he was the big guy!"
