For the past two years, we've been hitting up the inaugural HEAVY AF Direct Underground Festival in Sydney (2017 coverage here and 2018 coverage here) which has gone from strength to strength increasing in popularity each year that passes and today the legends at Soundworks Direct Touring announced the next lineup of brutal heroes to descend upon Sydney (Sept 6th) and Melbourne (Sept 7th) for a night of blisteringly loud tunes.
Well respected Swedish Black Metal act Dark Funeral will headline the event with frontman Lord Ahriman expressing his fondness to get back down under for the first time in 7 years stating:
"AUSTRALIA! It's been a long time since we last met. Did you miss us? We sure as hell have missed you! Lots of things have happened since our last visit in 2012. Joining DarkFuneral will be extreme black/death metal act Immolation who, with over 30 years of experience will surely melt the faces of those in their presence. Australia's Abramelin will also get a slot, as will ChristDismembered and Reaper.
