Due to overwhelming support, Metallica and Slipknot have been forced to add a second and final Melbourne show to their Australian Tour in October because you bunch of legends in Victoria have managed to sell the first one out at Marvel Stadium.

The second and final (Australian) show will be held on Thursday, October 24th at Marvel Stadium and tickets are on sale next week for all of you who missed out. The incredibly massive tour will see the guys kicked off festivities in Perth on October 17th before visiting Adelaide on October 20th, Melbourne on the 22nd and 24th, Sydney on October 26th and Brisbane on the 29th.

There are a few days off between shows and many fans have asked us if Slipknot will have their own headline shows during that time. It's hard to say, usually for a tour this excessive, the main focus will be on selling out the shows as quickly as possible before announcing anything else on the side. Its highly doubtful they would, but, stranger things have happened so don't count the idea out. Just wait for more shows to sell out in order to see what happens.

Tickets on sale April 8th via Live Nation Pre-Sale @ 1pm Local Time
General Public available April 9th @ 2pm Local Time via Live Nation
