Earlier this year Ice Nine Kills longtime fans were shocked to see the news about the band's former bassist Shane Bisnett passing away on January 1st and since that time the band have been working on something special to honour the memory of their fallen former bandmate.

The band revealed on their Facebook page that JD (Justin DeBlieck) has recorded a song that Shane wrote back in the day called 'Sunrise' and released it, along with a new merch shirt with all proceeds going towards his family. In the post, it was revealed:

As many of you know our former bassist Shane Bisnett passed away earlier this year. Shane was an amazing talent, a great friend and a loving husband and father. To honor Shane’s memory, JD has recorded a song Shane wrote years ago. In addition to the track we’ve also released a shirt to pay tribute to our dear friend. All proceeds from both the song and shirt will go directly to Shane’s family.
