Devastating news has been passed onto us this evening, The Prodigy frontman Keith Flint has been found dead in his Essex home, age 49 according to reports from the UK's The Sun. In a statement, An East of England Ambulance spokeswoman revealed:
"We were called at 8.08am with reports of a man who was unconscious in Dunmow... We sent an ambulance officer, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance and one ambulance. Sadly a man in his forties died at the scene."
Police are not treating his death as suspicious. TheProdigy were literally just here at the end of January for their No Tourists Tour which we covered in Perth so this is a complete shock to the system for us/fans.
The band confirmed the news on their social media pages and also stating that Keith allegedly took his own life according to an Instagram post. We are sending our thoughts to Keith's family, friends, bandmates, fans and peers.
