Has Slipknot revealed their next album’s release date and title?
As we count down the days until Slipknot release their sixth studio album, the teasing has begun with their new website being launched at wearenotyourkind.com which firstly takes lyrics from their latest song ‘All Out Life‘ (maybe this is the name of the album!?) and secondly offers a countdown to something BUT also a date if looked at on your phone.
The date revealed is 8.9.19 (which if we go via the US way of writing dates) works out to be Friday, August 9th, 2019. Considering most albums are released on a Friday, you can bet your bottom dollar that’ll be the day the new album comes out and there is also a countdown for three days from now, which I’m going to take a stab in the dark and say is the album announcement and new song drop.
Its been a long 5 years since the band released their last album .5: The Gray Chapter and now that frontman Corey Taylor has wrapped up his obligations with Stone Sour, the next couple of years will be all about the knot!
Anyone else frothing at the mouth for this?
