The Brave announce new album Aura, drop first single ‘Technicolor’ + unveil East Coast Tour

A band we love seeing pop up in our emails is The Brave from Brisbane who signed to UNFD a few years back and scored rave reviews from our staff and critics following the release of their debut album Epoch back in 2016. Fast forward 3 years and they’ve finally unveiled their new album, Aura, will be released on April 5th.

To celebrate the news, the guys have also dropped the first single from the new released called ‘Technicolor‘ (not the Aussie spelling so settle down everyone) and it is fucking fantastic. Heavy where it needs to be, melodic throughout and plenty of screams + a breakdown. Frontman Nathan Toussaint reveals the song reflects a time when he partied a bit too hard and wanted to snap out of it, if you catch our drift, explaining it’s about:

“That feeling of everything around you not being what it seems and wanting to get back to normality. It was an experience that is funny now to think back on, but at the time I remember thinking I was never going to be the same again.”

Chances are this song will go off in a live setting, which is funny because they’ve also announced a new tour with our mates in Windwaker (who just dropped their new song last week) so you’re gonna wanna check out these two band when they hit the road in March/April. Grab all the info below!
