Ocean Grove have started teasing their newest member following Luke and Jimmy's departure last month

If you've been living under a rock, you wouldn't know that Ocean Grove recently said a tearful goodbye to frontman Luke Holmes and guitarist Jimmy Hall last month at UNIFY Gathering (our coverage here) in front of thousands of keen and devastated fans who have been following the band for close to a decade. The guys announced their departure when they released their latest track 'Glass Gloss' back in December.
But, as one door closes, another opens and it seems Ocean Grove are keen as fuck to kick off the next era of the band by teasing the newest member who will be joining Dale Tanner, Sam Bassal and Matt Henley as they continue on as a four-piece and they've done it in nostalgic style by replicating the old school character select menu in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series. Seriously, is this not cool or what?
We sat down with Sam and Dale for our Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall UNIFY Special (listen here) to talk about the next phase of the band and both boys were keen for what was to come, indicating OG wouldn't stop their momentum (with plenty of songs and tours on the way) and were very coy on any details surrounding their newest member, other than saying they're keeping it all a big secret.
Your first chance to catch the new member/lineup will be on Friday when the guys kick off their tour supporting Hands Like Houses in Canberra.
