Gold Coast punks Being Jane Lane drop short (but riffy) new song ‘Less Is More’

Being Jane Lane band

If punk songs are your achilles heel, but you’re a time constrained mofo stuck working for “The Man”, well feast your ears on this 100-second riff-heavy track from Gold Coast punk rockers Being Jane Lane. The appropriately titled ‘Less Is More‘ wastes no time bringing you in and forcefully makes you bang your head in the process leaving you wanting more as the girls attempt to draw in more potential followers ahead of their slot at Brisbane’s Laneway Festival tomorrow on the Girls Rock Brisbane Stage.

We’ve had our eye on BJL for a while who have been gaining traction and increasing popularity since scoring the public voted People’s Choice Award at the Gold Coast Music Awards a few years back and in the process, scored slots on the Dead of Winter Festival (our coverage here), Big Gay Day and most recently, the VB Hard Yards Tour. If you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet, it might just be time to do that ahead of the release of their debut album later this year.
