NWOBHM icons Girlschool, Venom Inc and Raven are bringing the heavy down under

Back in the late 1970's Girlschool broke out and caused a huge scene in the UK becoming an established act who helped pave the way for the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal with their punk-tinged metal tracks and almost 40 years later, they're still at it with original members Kim McAuliffe, Enid Williams and Denise Dufort and longtime shredder Jackie Chambers. Good news is they're heading to Australia for a tour in June and bringing along some very special guests.

Joining the awesome-foursome will be fellow NWOBHM icons Venom Inc and for the very first time down under, Raven, who old school metal fans are absolutely frothing over the opportunity to catch for the first time on this limited East Coast run.

The tour will kick off in Brisbane on June 27th at The Zoo, Sydney's Manning Bar on June 28th and wrapping it all up in Melbourne at the Croxton on June 29.
