The Plot In You reckon they’ll be back later this year for a headline tour

They’ve visited Australia a couple of times now (more recently supporting Polaris) but The Plot In You reckon they’ll head back down under for their own headline shows later this year, so they can play more tracks from their incredible 2018 album Dispose.

When chatting with us at UNIFY Gathering, we asked how long they had left of the album’s current touring cycle to which they replied:

“Yeah we probably got another year left in the cycle, we’re gonna do a headliner this Spring and then the rest of the year is still all in the talks [with] some festivals and stuff but yeah we’re gonna do a headliner in the Spring and finally play pretty much all the record.”

When quizzed about if their headlining tour included Australia the boys noddingly agreed, revealing:

“there will be at some point”

Dispose, is arguably the band’s best release to date and has not only pleased even the longest of fans but brought in a whole stack of new ones who may not have given the guys a chance before OR actively searched for their music online and even they think the same too after seeing new faces and larger crowds attending their shows and the offers that have come with that:

“It’s [Dispose] opened up a lot of doors so yeah, I guess as far as widening our audience, I think so, just because we’ve gotten the opportunity to do tours that we’ve wanted to do for a long time and playing in front of a lot more people. So yeah it’s definitely opened up a lot for us”

Maybe now if the time for you to jump on the hype bandwagon if you haven’t already. Check out Dispose here then revisit the band’s full interview in our Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall UNIFY Podcast Special here.
