Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures theme cops a Liam Hennessy rock cover

If you’re new to these videos, welcome, we’ll fill you in on what you’ve missed… Self-proclaimed “Jack of All Trades, Master of None” Liam Hennesy of Behind Crimson Eyes and Take Us To Vegas fame has a bit of spare time when he’s not tearing up the stage/studio, building a better Brisbane as a concreter/roadworker or building an empire with his Shredlife clothing label, and during that time he sometimes whips out heavy covers of iconic Australian theme songs.

So far he’s covered everything from Bunnings Warehouse, VB, Vegemite and now he’s tackled arguably one of our favourite Aussie TV Show theme songs, Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures. Complete with Akubra, sexy riffs and a bit of a stack, he’s done a pretty good job giving this classic a new age upgrade. When we asked why he decided to cover this song, he simply replied:

“I went on lots of Adventures over Xmas, all Aussie Adventures”

Fair enough. We’re more than happy to check these out every week or so until BCE hit the studio to work on new music again. Til then, time to hit the road…
