Vernon Reid‎ – Living Colour (Audio Interview)

What’s your favourite colour?

If like me, you were around the metal scene back in 1988 you would have answered that question by trading your blue denim and black leather for Living Colour. The funk/metal/rock pioneers exploded onto the scene with their brilliant debut album VividNow, 30 years on and with two Grammy awards under their belts, the band has hit the road again to play a selection of highlights from the album, along career hits – and maybe even a few deep cuts. I was lucky enough to grab some time with founding member and guitarist Vernon Reid to chat about the tour, how buying vinyl is like a drug deal and why the ‘Cult of Personality‘ was a warning the world did not heed.
