Slayerrrrr announce Brisbane & Adelaide Download sideshows
They’re heading down under for their Final World Tour and are playing at both Sydney and Melbourne Download Festivals but Slayer have announced two very special shows for Brisbane and Adelaide fans so they can take part in the farewell celebrations too. The guys will be joined by Anthrax and Behemoth
Anthrax have been a key player in Slayer‘s farewell tour, hitting the road with them across the globe so it’s only fitting they’ll be on the last ever Australia leg, and Behemoth who just released their latest album I Loved You At Your Darkest (our review here) will provide the heaviest, brutal metal sounds fans will froth over.
Appearing at Riverstage in Brissie on March 7th, the guys will then play Download Sydney on the 9th, Melbourne on the 11th before wrapping things up on the 13th of March at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Slayer took down the links to their ticket sales page, they must have announced it too early (or before it was supposed to).

Thanks I see disturbed are playing on the 8th of march in Rosemont IL then they have a break til april so I think that just rules them out. Any news on the final announcement?

Woahhhh that’s weird. It came from their Facebook page this morning and was on their website too.
They must have released the info too early (before it was supposed to be announced).
We’ll keep it up because no doubt there’ll either be changes or an update (which we will update once available) but definitely not fake if it came from them, as opposed to a fan made page!
