Dream State covered (and nailed) Linkin Park’s classic ‘Crawling’ all for a good cause

They’re going to be making their official debut in Australia next year at UNIFY Gathering but the hype train is definitely building up for Dream State ahead of their appearance and for good reason, the band has just released a cover of Linkin Park‘s classic track ‘Crawling‘ from their debut album Hybrid Theory.

The good news is, the South Wales five-piece have nailed their rendition of the song which is going to be on a covers compilation called Songs That Saved My Life which is out on Friday and aims to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.

The album will also feature Neck Deep covering ‘Torn‘ by Natalie Imbruglia (who also covered the song, originally recorded by Ednaswap), Movements covering R.E.M.‘S ‘Losing My Religion‘, Taking Back Sunday doing Smashing Pumpkins‘ ‘Bullet With Butterfly Wings‘ and a stack more.

If you or anyone you know needs help with their own mental well-being call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636 or find your closest Suicide Prevention/Crisis Support Organisation on Google…
