I have no problem with someone critiquing a band’s CD but when it boarders on defamation and an obvious, dislike for the singer – that’s crossing the line! It’s obvious, unless you’re Stevie Wonder – that Mr Slaidins – has a serious problem with the singer and his personal swipes and attacks, are petty and extremely childish – for a grown man? I thought this sort of behaviour, finished for most people in high school, sadly not the case here and it’s almost to the point, that the sheer jealousy oozes from this reviewers viewpoint! The comments regarding – the over use of rhyming verses and choruses – has the person heard of The Beatles, Kiss, Ac/DC, Slade, Queen – among 100’s if not 1000’s of other bands from the last 40 -50 years who have ALL used this very successful formula? The entire review comes across as someone, who couldn’t find any fault with the product initially and has then, gone out of his way, to find faults and his green with envy and extreme petty jealousy – shows a man who obviously couldn’t cut it as a musician!
TBH the album was mediocre at best and the fact you’re still bringing it up after all of this time has passed says more about you than the review. We moved on, so should you.
What a sad review. This guy obviously doesnt know how to properly review a band without comparing them with other bands and making it seem like he’s been in the business for ages
Look, I think Andrew’s comments were a tad harsh in places, but overall I do agree with most of what he wrote. I’m sad to say it really is a pretty average release.

Lol. You call this a review? It reads more like a comparison. The writer obviously is incapable of approaching anything on its own merit if he needs to name-drop as many possible other bands and songs as he can “look how much I know”

You’re a spiteful little weasel Slaidins. Just because the band called you out for your bullshit back stabbing. I guess this is getting even eh? Bad reviews are one thing – but when I and the entire band knew it was coming – it gives you the street cred of a dung beetle. You’ve always been a follower, not a leader and all your tidings of love and peace are as hollow as the integrity you so desperately crave.
