Satyricon – Gig Review & Photo Gallery 4th September @ Capitol, Perth WA

Capitol, Perth WA
September 4th, 2018
Supports: Deadspace

It seems every time a Norwegian act hits Perth, we get hit with the cold and wet weather which adds to the (heavy metal) doom and gloom of the night ahead. Tonight was no different. First up at Capitol was Perth’s own Deadspace, and you should check these guys out if you haven’t, they owned the stage like it was no one’s business, proving to the naysayers why they deserved their spot on the cross country tour.

Satyricon hit the stage with their track ‘Midnight Serpent‘ and pretty much crushed our heads with their brand of black metal for the rest of the night. In my opinion ‘Mother North‘ is the greatest song ever written, and not surprisingly it made its appearance, as did many other crowd favourites such as ‘Black Crow on a Tombstone‘, ‘Now Diabolical‘ and ‘The Pentagram Burns‘. If you didn’t come, you missed out. Satyricon rules!
